Hackney Youth Performing Arts
Original Youth Theatre Productions
Our original youth theatre productions are written specifically for our Company (Under 18), and developed through a collaborative process between students and our directors.
Actors take ownership of their roles, and are given the freedom and flexibility to shape and influence their final performances.
Bespoke Workshops
A series of wide ranging and tailor made holiday sessions designed to enhance students understanding of specific skills, and introduce them to other aspects of production and design.
Past workshops have included (but not limited to): script writing, acting for camera, stage combat, make up, and physical theatre.
Guest Instructors
We regularly partner with individuals who work in the theatre industry in order to facilitate one off learning experiences designed to augment and enhance everything taught during our sessions, workshops, and Production Company.
Sessions
We host both in person and online digital sessions that allow students in a variety of age groups (Under 18) to explore Drama and performance outside of the school curriculum.
